Street side room was a little noisy, room was quite basic but cheap, clean secure with hot working shower :) Not much atmosphere but we aimed to be out the hotel for much of the day and night so perfect for our needs. Only steep stairs and no elevator, a problem for us carrying too many things. It is in the main street of Amsterdam, so it is noisy, but convenient. Guys at the reception were very helpful (though they charge you for anything, pretty much like everything in Amsterdam).

The seperate shared bathroom and shower room were also clean and just across the hallway from the room. It is not a luxurious hotel, but more than adequate as a base for exploring the city. I would definitely return to this hotel or reccomend it to friends.

It is very near the train station, city center, and main attractions of Amsterdam. The only problem we had was with the receptionist on the last day. First he gave us the wrong check out time; and was very rude when we weren't out of the room early enough. Then he tried charging us 25 euro to leave our bags there for the afternoon even though it was supposed to be free. He was just looking to pocket the money for himself.

Everything was pretty clean, the shared bathroom was not bad at all. Small rooms, a little stuffy, and hot as hell at night. A little loud but that's to be expected in downtown amsterdam. Only real complaint was how hot it was. If you're just need a clean place to sleep and shower, it's pretty good i guess.

The room was abit small but decent for what we paid, the ensuite shower was great, housekeeping staff were friendly and gave us more towels than we needed! U walk straight out the front door and theres a coffee shop right there, aswell as all the canal cruises etc. The stairs are very steep, but great for working off all the munchies! Great place to stay, would reccommend it to anyone.
