| Comments: Great for relaxing, not best if you want to party in the \'Dam tho staff run a regular shuttlebus. Lovely surroundings to explore by bike! Staff friendly and helpful. Was a really enjoyable end to our trip! |

| Comments: Loved it, clean, comfy, spacious with hammocks, ducks and a lake. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location about 20 mins on metro from city centre but well worth the trip. Great chill out place. Half the price of the places in the city and infinitely better. Will be going back even though I live here now. So many things to rave about but I\'m running out of space. |

| Comments: Lucky Lake is a bit further out from the city centre but worth it as it's a lovely area. Also a much cleaner and nicer hostel than you'll get anywhere in the city. We moved into the city to a couple of different hostels to be closer to the action and it was a big mistake as we spent double the price for rooms that we couldn't stand being in. The dorm rooms were clean, spacious ,modern and comfy. The communal kitchen was well equiped and maintained, as were the showers/toilets. The staff ever helpful and the hammocks very comfy. The ducks were lovely too, altogether a great place to chill out. |

| Comments: lucky lake is perfect, but the staff need to come down to earth - too... pretentious is the wrong word, the staff there are very 'clicky' and therefore come across unfriendly |

| Comments: I loved this hostel but location is far...far...farrrrrrrr... from city center. You have to pay a lot with transportation. However, the lake and trailers are very funny. |

| Comments: Decent place but a bit out of the way. They provide a shuttle service to the nearest Metro to get to 'Dam (takes about 45mins door to door), but charge 2 euros for 5-10min journey!! Is a bus service but not so regular so you end up coughing up a fair few euros. Aside from that all good, very 'Dam, very reaxed and chilled. |

| Comments: While it does take about 25 mins to get there from the Central, they run a shuttle for a couple euro and you even get your first trip free. Definitely a MUST SEE if you've got a couple days to be away from the city. |

| Comments: Best idea for a hostel ever!perfect location for combining the busy schedule of a city break with the laid back style of a caravaning holiday! Those thinking of staying at Lucky Lake should take advantage of their facilities such as the Lucky Boat for a trip onto the lake and hire bikes to cycle to the local village! The staff are laid back and friendly which exactly suits the atmosphere of this fantastic place to enjoy amsterdam and the dutch countryside all rolled into one! |

| Comments: Location would have not been a problem if tthe metro line wasn't closed going into the city. The minibus system would be far better if it were free and everyone staying at hostel paid an extra euro a night. Everyone would use the service then and knowone would end up out of pocket. Longer reception and bus running times would also be a help. |

| Comments: I have to admit that my booking at Lucky Lake was a last minute action. At my arrival I was shocked on the first eye blink but we were welcomed very nice. The campers are small but comfortable. The toilets were clean almost 24/7. So I will return for sure and maybe I can stay a little bit longer. Aaah, and I almost forgot the sunset at the lake were amazing. |

| Comments: Caravan was adequate-stank of damp on arrival, but had gone after 24-48hrs.Caravan was cold&damp&required heater at night in the caravan@2euros/night.
Kitchen inadequate for so many guests-40caravans&3dorms-only 3 frying pans,1 wok,&hugely insufficient plates&bowls.Given that these were cheap&made of plastic this cannot be justified.Staff friendly&extremely reliable when picking up on the shuttle bus(10min)
Site adequate&you will never find such value for money in the city centre. |

| Comments: Staff very friendly, very nice surroundings with a beautiful lake, distance to Amsterdam about 17 km. Good shuttle Service to the next metro station, so that you can travel to Amerstdam City in about 30 minutes. Taxi from Lucky Lake to Amsterdam is about 35-40 EUR. All in all I can recommend this nice location! |

| Comments: there is probably nothing more \\\"Dutch\\\" than an overnight stay in a caravan. The atmosphere is nice and In summertime this hostel is a really good option. it can get a little cold, though (caravans, open kitchen, way to toilets and showers through open air!). I wondered how the staff manage to keep this hostel this clean, but they really manage it...
It is a bit difficult to reach this hostel, but there is a good shuttle service and if you want a little peace, it is quite fun! |

| Comments: A relaxing place on a beautiful lake near a charming village. A bit of a trip to the city (about 20 min.), but it was nice to be a little separated from the city at night and just meet new people and hang out in a relaxing, sort of communal environment. Definately a nice place to stay for the price. |
