The room I stayed in had its own sink which reduces bathroom wait times. The bathrooms were the cleanest of any hostel I\'ve stayed at. The floors were spotless; bath mats do wonders. Rolando, the owner, is very helpful and knowledgeable. Free internet is always a plus.

However, there were a lot of bugs and we got bitten quiet a bit. Florence is small and the place is very close to the train station (which is good if you're going to Pisa, Siena, or Lucca).

Only knock on the place is that there's really no common room, but, hey, it's the perfect place for those travellers looking to visit Florence for its history, culture and nightlife.

Easy to get to from the train station, close to all florence main sites. Enjoy our stay very much, free internet is a plus. Only comment would be to wash shower cases more often. But all in all would come again.

Large, locked rooms, a basic shared kitchen and shared bathrooms (the shower's not great), fabulous host and we met some lovely people too. Most accomodation in Florence is pretty central, it's not a big city, but the manager gave us tips for places to eat and to go and see. He's lovely, treats everyone as his best friend. There's a smell of damp which was the only negative. He gives some people free internet access, and others free coffee, it's all a bit random and crazy! Plus the stray cats (kept outside) provide entertainment!
