Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 15th August 2008 Couple 18-24 1/5 Comments: a downer. nice, really really REALLY laid back staff, too laid back. spaniards came at 3 in the morning over booked but lady still let them stay...they were drunk and had to add another bed, loud at three in the morning. dirty - we saw her not change the sheets on three of the beds the next morning and two people sleep in the dirt you will need to wait a half hour to check in hoping a neighborhood junkie calls her for you.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Brazil 31st July 2008 Female 18-24 4/5 Comments: It was a very pleasant stay.. very close to the station and Firenze nice spots.. it´s also close to the internet shops, phones, supermarket and laundry... the accomodation was good, there was a tv on the room and we could take shower whener we felt like.. the only problem I had was the bedbugs because it was too hot in Italy.. but loved the place and wanted to stay there longer but there wwere no vacancies..

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 30th July 2008 Mixed Group 18-24 2/5 Comments: my least favorite hostel on our trip, and we have been staying at places of equal or lesser cost in locations ranging from paris to roma to interlaken switzerland. we only had one day of hot water over a 3 day stay. and they have some sort of bugs in the mattresses. i would not stay there again, and i do not recomend it. this is the first time i have said as much...

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Canada 8th July 2008 Female 18-24 4/5 Comments: We didn't realize that the owner does not actually stay at the hotel, he lives elsewhere and had to come into the city centre to let us in. We had arrived earlier than our arrival time stated so had to wait. We called the number posted on the door bell area and he came as soon as he could to check us in. Don't be nervous about this process it was all worth it in the end. It was very good value for money, clean and cetrally located. My friend and I would stay there again for sure.

Definitely not worth the price for the private room though so I downgraded after one night in that cell to the shared room.

Checking in is a bit of a hassle if your not right on time as the owners arent their unless someone is checking in. But it is clean and in a good location with a great place to eat across the road!!!!

My friend who was with me lived in a hut in Africa for a month and thought the hut was cleaner than this hostel. And even though we arrived during front desk hours (20h)no one was there to let us in. Even though it's cheap, it is not worth it...go a few blocks away to Ostello Archi Rossi, which is amazing. We switched to there the second night.
