Comments: It wasn't nice that at check-in nobody told us that our 4-day reservation was truncated to 3 days-only because of the site was closed for winter... Thay told us only at the 3rd evening...

Comments: Its far away from Venice, you can take their shuttle in and out or the public bus but will probably end up spending nights in the camp site rather than on the canals. The pool is really handy after a big day in venice but it closed at 7pm!

Comments: Main problem is that it\'s a 20 min bus trip to Venice and the bus is often full and crowded (you almost need to fight to get on)! The pool was great... but some of the tents were smelly!

Comments: I stayed in a 3bed air con dorm. Essential during summer months to avoid being destroyed by the killer mosquitos. The bar is good fun most nights and the shuttle bus is handy, but dont be afraid to take the public bus if you want more flexibility, it is easy.

Comments: Alba D'oro is near the airport so it can be easily reached by bus. There are regular buses to Venice and you can get there in 20 minutes (tickets for 1,10 euro). Very good place to stay if you are travelling on a tight budget.

Comments: This campsite was amazing! Everyone was wicked friendly and the trailer we stayed in was clean. The bathroom connected to our trailer had a great shower and hot water! I only stayed 2 nights, but would stay here again. The only down fall was taking the buses-from Venice the campsite is about 30-40mins away and the last bus to the campsite is around 11ish. Other than the buses and being far away-it was well worth it for a great night sleep.

Comments: In offseason, there are no private shuttles to Venezia.Public buses from the campsite are only hourly Since in the outskirts, was very cold and misty(Nov). The cabin was reasonably clean, and had verygood facilities, but the blankets could have been cleaner. The staff are reasonably helpful, the person at the restaurant did a good job too.It may be good place if you are staying in Venice for many days, but if you go just for a day, or during offseason, its not a good choice.

Comments: The location is not the worst, but the camping does not have a kitchen where you can cook, forcing you to eat out; the other thing I didnt like was the fact that the place has no common areas to meet other people, I was alone in one cabin and I meet noone!

Comments: the website said there was a free shuttle bus... but there wasn't because of the off season... and there were no alternative directions given for getting there without the free shuttle bus.

Comments: The camping does not have kitchen nor even a common room which is the minimum anyone expects. They said, we have restorant, but the simplest meal costed around 10 Euros! The customer service was nill, we had a quite cold night there and asked for some hot water to prepare a te but they refused to provide it... it was just hot water!!!... The room another story, there was space only for the 2 single beeds and our bags, it was quite noicy and they did not pick up the garbage untill we left on the 3rd day... We do not recommend this campıng.

Comments: Location is great to get to and from Marco Polo airport but getting to and from Venice it was a frustrating having to change buses - it was far too easy to catch the wrong bus. If you want a relaxing campground and not do any siteseeing this is the place to stay. Clean, friendly and relaxing. If not stay elsewhere. One last thing take lots of Insect Repellant - as the Mosquitoes will eat you alive!

Comments: not the best location (which hostel actually IS INSIDE VENICE????), but don\'t let this deter you!!! we had a blast while we were there. The little \'bar/nightspot\' that they have on premises makes up for the long days you spend scouring Venice.

Comments: This would be a great place to stay in the peak season however in winter it is a little run down. Even though it is out of town the bus services make it easy to get into Venice and the staff are helpful. Id stay again in summer for some real fun

Comments: I was here in the off season, i can see how this place would be good in season. But the shuttle guy was still rude (they will not let me profanity, but i think you get the picture), and if you miss the noon shuttle you must wait until 6pm. The pool and hottubs were filled with green water. There also were about 6 people total in the entire place.

Comments: It is not too bad, I slept confortable, the problem is that I arrived from Marco Polo by 10 ish in the night and I there was no chance to buy something to eat inside the camp, no restaurants around since it is quite isolated. I would recommend it for just 1 or 2 nights since it's affordable for budget travelers but nothing else

Comments: no shuttle bus to venice as advertised on website and phone record message é wasted hours waiting for it 2 buses and 40 mins out from Venice. rooms were clean but closeness to airport meant loud noise and shaking of rooms when planes took off 1km away! pool an spa were disgusting and growing somehting

Comments: A bit far away and not quite what we were expecting (It was kind of like a trailor park) but it was economical and we have our own secure room. It was easy to get to using the public buses, just a pain that you can only stay in venice until about 10 or else you risk having to pay for a cab all the way back.

Comments: Horrible! Way way way out of town, at least a 30-45 min bus ride. The staff was less than friendly to me during my stay, and there definately weren't any other people around to socialize when I was there. All in all, a bad experience...

Comments: The staff knew about an upcoming bus strike & did not inform anyone. No sign was posted or any indication of a notice was given! Restaurant and "supermarket" were never open, pool was filthy and undrained, dirty outdoor showers and toilets, shuttle bus didnt operate, and they keep your passports until you check out!! Photos are not an accurate depiction of the reality you encounter! Beware!

Comments: This place is fantastic for staying in Venice on a budget. I stayed in a cabin with its own bathroom and shower and it was very secure and clean. I would definitely stay here again, only problem is how far away it is from Venice, but there is a bus that leaves frequently and if you take it early enough, you will be able to see enough of venice to catch the last bus to the campsite. Theres also a bar at the site to make up for not being able to see the nightlife in Venice.

Comments: Showers were pretty dirty, but that can be expected from camping...it is a long way out of Venice but the shuttle bu was very good, and local bus services are regular and cheap. Be warned thought there are NO cooking facilities, not even a bbq! In addition, dont expect much from the pool area it was olive green and filled with moss! Other than that, place was ok, cheapest option available.

Comments: A good place to stay if you want to do venice on the cheap, however for a campsite I thought it was quite expensive when it came to the supermarket and restaurant. Otherwise good, no frills accomodation.

Comments: Stayed in a cabin so used the camp ground showers & toilets which weren't very clean. The main drawback though is the distance from the city.

Comments: This was my second stay and I thoroughly enjoyed both of my visits. The restaurant is delicious and the transporation to and from the bus station is very convenient.
