Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Canada 5th May 2008 - - 4/5 Comments: Really great place to stay, only 2 downsides, one is that there are only 2 or maybe 3 busses there per day from palma, one at 7am and the other two not until 4 or 5 at night. You could take a bus to santanyi which run more frequently and then take a cab from santanyi (approx 10 euro). The other downside is that it\'s about a 20 minute walk from the beach, not a huge deal it lets you see the area a bit but still a walk none the less. Has a nice port with a variety of restaurants.

The owners are a British family and are very friendly and the hostal is clean and well maintained. The hostal is in a great location at Cala Figuera, close to some of the best beaches on the Island at S'Armarador and Cala Mondrago.

Mass tourism hasn´t hit too much here, although there are quite a few daytrippers. There are some beaches a few kilometers away. Not a great base if you are planning day trips around Mallorca, as there aren´t many buses to/from Cala Figuera. But it is a great place for relaxing, hiking, and hiring a bike. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the quietness of the town, though it was difficult to find restaurants/grocery stores open during the off season. The hostel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The breakfast was also nice and had a good variety. I would definitely stay here and again!

The hotel was an amazing value, for the amazingly beautiful area that it is located in. The owners went to great lengths to ensure that the guests enjoyed their stay and had fun. The hotel was conveniently located within a short distance from many beaches. Renting bikes across the street was a snap and there were so many wonderful places to travel to by bike. I will definitely go back as soon as I can save up some money!!

But it can get dull if you want to go out at night, as it is very quiet. Even in August when I was there. But the hostel is great value, with great breakfast and free internet. It was also spotlessly clean and generally well maintained.
