If you're just passing through Frankfurt and need a bed for the night, I would definately recommend this hotel.

The fellow at the desk was wonderful and so accomodating. We did manage to get a $10 discount by asking.

It may not be on the *most* attractive and well-lit street, but it is just a block away from the train station, so it is very conveniently located.

This room had absolutely no ventillation... very hot... no air conditioner.. no proper fan. one tiny fan was given for three persons & a kid and that too this fan did not have front cover. very dangerous for the kid... the rubbish bins were outside... approach to the room looked dirty... the staff did not help much... the boss of the hotel offered nothing too(in fact, he did not answer the call from the second time) all in all, PATHETIC....

Right next to the station if your using public transport and probably a 15 minute walk to the parts of the city that are worth a look. Breakfast was included and the staff were reasonably helpful. Wireless internet a plus if you want to sit in the stairwell to get reception.

Great staff. We actually liked the sister hotel better and ended up staying there the next two nights (Hotel Tourist on Baseler Strasse)
