Towels and bedding changed half way through - although only after insistance, as there had previously been a 'mistake on the schedule.' No air conditioning made for a hot environment and the fan provided had to be kept on 24/7. HOWEVER, THE MAN THAT MET US WAS INCREDIBLY RUDE. NO OTHER GUESTS SEEMED HAPPY WITH CHARACTER EITHER, AND I INTEND TO COMPAIN TO THE COMPANY INVOLVED AS I WAS SO SHOCKED AS TO HOW I WAS SPOKEN TO.

They recomended some good places to visit which was really helpful. The location was perfect. Metro and bus links are really near which is also really useful. The only problem is that there is no A/C, only a small fan. The room got really hot! The shared kitchen and bathrooms were kept really clean.

She was very nice and a great help. Broken shower heads in both showers but really didnt care. Never had a problem with the shared bathrooms. Great location, yes a bit noisy, but all you have to do is bring earplugs. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it!

The location itself is great (really not far from Placa Catalunya), but the noise of the cars is annoying. The beds were uncomfortable. Good points are the fully equipped kitchen and the fact that there were two bathrooms. Everything was cleaned on a daily basis. No problems with the shared fridge!!!

The hostel is cleaned on a dail basis and the facilities are goo - including hob, toaster, microwave 2bathrooms which are shared however we didnt have to queue for their usage once. other guests are also friend and everyone respected others belonging in the communal kitchen (food etc) and also the apartment wasnt noisey at all - defo recommend it to others - location also sells it as it is just arpund the cornoer from les ramblas which is a must for tourists to the city

The room was clean and functional and the owner was really friendly and helpful. I had no problems finding the apartment, and I was quite happy with the room. I would stay there again. My only minor comment, is that the front door to the apartment should have a self locking mechanism, as several times the door was closed but left unlocked by other guests. This means that anyone who gained access to the main building, could have walked into the apartment quite easily. The locks on the room doors could be more substantial including proper fire doors. Otherwise excellent all round.

But it was no problem. The quiet the first flat in the middle of gothic area was the loud was the other directly above the five lane crossing balmes - universidades. Thanks to the wonderful red wine and my ear pluggs, so that I sleeped well even in that horrible noise. But the weekand was great!

Too much noise in the room and the flat. The beds were uncomfortable. We can not let the blind down because it didn't work......the experience in this apartments was dissapointing.
