However, you have to take a separate train to get back into Paris that only comes every 15 minutes. The room is very bare bones as you would expect: no phone, small beds, strange shower and my toilet was acting strangely. The staff is great though, and they speak excellent English.

I have never had someone act so rude towards me before. He refused to look us, simply taking our booking reciept and after a few minutes slamming our payment receipt on the desk as if to try and intimidate us. We had been nothing but polite. He was an older person, 40 to 50, short dark hair, working the late shift. Its disapointing such a rude person can keep his job while there is unemployment.

Internet is available at 3 euros for 15 minutes. No WiFi. It was nice to have a room all to myself again. Cheap price in an expensive city; however, it is in a suburb of Paris.

To get there you have to get a tram to the end of the line, then a bus, then there's a walk from the bus stop, and the last bus is about 9pm so if you're out later than that you'll be paying 15 euro for a taxi. Aside from the horrible location everything else was fine.

The actual place is lovely as well, one evening we had a walk down to the river there and all along the seine, so if you want to see Paris an a budget, this place is for you!

The positive parts were that it was very nice to have a very cheap room that was clean and very friendly staff with security and quiet place to sleep. It is a hotel so you will not have the social life that you would in a hostel, and it is a LONG train ride from Paris. There is one market down the street, but not many places to eat or shop and the location is not the safest part of town, but by no means are you in the ghetto. If you plan to stay for a while, get the visit transit pass for the buses and trains it will make your stay much easier. Oh, and even though the Internet costs are high, we weren't able to find a cheaper alternative.
