The hotel is 30 mins walk away from downtown. Honestly, it was a bit long distance. I recommend you to go back to the hotel while the subway is running or take a taxi.

They booked my return mini bus for me as I couldn't get through to the phone line. I can't praise them enough. The hotel is out of the tourist area so you need to be happy with walking, the metro or taxis but the area itself is interesting and quite close to the Szechenyi which are fantastic.

When I was there the temperature was 35 degrees and it was great to be in a room with air-conditioning. The location is great if you want to be near Keleti station. From the fun point of view I didn't meet anyone there but i was with my wife so it didn't matter. Tip: if you head north up the street and turn left at the top you find a fantastic Chinese restaurant with good prices (on the way up you also see another cheap one but I didn't try it).
