| Comments: More soundproofing on walls required - could hear the drunken singing of our neighbour through the walls. |

| Comments: A very poor hotel, probably the worst I have ever stayed in. Cleanliness suboptimal. Rooms extremely dusty (not a good place to come to if you're asthmatic) |

| Comments: DO NOT STAY HERE ! The guy is a conman and I will be reporting him to the tourist board and every review I find. All the 'facilities' mentioned are in his small office with desk. For the same money find a reputable hotel or hostel. Ask yourself why he has a nonrefundable minimum stay and your card details. The truth - Location - run down area miles from anywhere. Facilities -non or broken or lies. Broken windows + doors included. |

| Comments: oh my god!! what an experience! at 3pm on the day of check in i get a phone call from a private number saying "what time you coming?!" in a rude accented voice. i had no idea who it was as the voice did not introduce itself. it was gradually revealed that the phone call was from the hotel guy (manager? i think) and he told me that he didnt even know how we'd gotten the booking because it was supposed to be a 2-4 night minimum stay. i said that it wasnt my fault, and that i had done the right thing and made the booking (through hostel world) and paid my deposit and got my reference number and everything. he then asked how many ppl were staying and when i told him 4 (which i thought was obvious as i had booked one double bed room and a room with 2 twin beds). he said "well we dont have room for 4, i can tell you that much!" he then went on to say "we dont need this s**t right now-s**t customers- backpackers" and then hung up on me!! i was in shock!! i had no idea what had happened or what i was supposed to do now. i had to meet my friend near the hotel anyway, so i met up with him and we went in together ahead of our 2 other friends to see if we could still check in. i walked in, said that i was here for a booking and that i think i spoke to him on the phone. he then carried on in an abusive -no, PSYCHO- way, saying things like "you come in here in fight mode, making accusations (whether it was him on the phone or not, how is that an accusation?! he could just say it wasnt him!), who are you? i dont know you!!" my friend and i had no idea what had happened. the man stood up and pointed while he was yelling at us and we just stood there shocked! i have never been treated with such bad customer service in my entire life!!!!!! all we had done is make a booking like we were supposed to, and all i had said when we walked in was that i was there for a booking!!! if they didnt have space for us, all they had to do is call me, introduce who they were & from where (in the correct professional manner), explain that there had been a mix up and that they were sorry for the inconvinience but we werent able to stay there, and then say goodbye not just hang up in my ear!!! i was so so angry and shocked at him in the hotel when we went in, but i walked out afterwards and burst into tears. i couldnt believe him. we were lucky enough to have a friend offer us the floor of her house to crash on, otherwise we would've been screwed because most other places were booked or overpriced. so, the moral of the story is dont go to the central private hotel- it is in a good location, but the manager is a psycho who doesnt like backpackers (even though im not even a backpacker!) and will abuse you for no reason in an accent you can barely even understand. the only funny thing through it all is that when he said "you come here in fight mode" it sounded like "fart mode" lol. my male friend used that as the lighthearted take on the bad experience.
PS. hotelworld, how can i get my deposit back? since we didnt even stay there
PPS he was saying something when we were there like they had no record of our booking- but if that was true then how did they have my number! and why did they call! god. he was just mean. thats all. |
