Comments: You should buy new curtains for the toilets, or at least throw the old ones awyay (that would be a major improvement)

| Comments: I had a great time staying at YHA Cambridge. The staff was really nice and helpful, and the rooms, toilets & showers were also clean. The breakfast (which is included in the price) was also very good! A lot of choices!
The walk to the centre wasn't bad, about 15 minutes.. the trainstation was very close, so we had no problems finding it.
So really, two thumbs up! |

Comments: Easy parking and access to transport. Equally only a 15 minute stroll into the centre was a bonus at the end of the evening.

Comments: I stay at a lot of YHA's across the country and this one was pretty run down unfortunately, I've seen cleaner! But the staff were great and the breakfast was superb.

Comments: I would definitely recommend this hostel, although if you're looking for a huge social scene, this probably isn't the place to be. For those just looking for a quiet place to sleep, this is a great hostel. There is a lounge and a tv room, and there were people in both of those throughout the evening, so you don't feel as though you are alone in the hostel. They provide a full breakfast, which is really nice.

Comments: I had booked a 4 bed room for my friend and I, but when I checked in, we were arranged in 8 bed room, a little bit disappointed. All in all, it's a nice place.

Comments: When I stayed there was a large noisy undisciplined school group also in residence. They took over the whole hostel and noise did not stop until midnight and started again 5 am. I gather there are frequent school groups staying. Cambridge itself is a wonderful place to visit.

Comments: Room was quite cold, would have been willing to pay extra in the price for a towel. Ditto drinkable tap water. Breakfast was pretty bad and breakfast staff in a very bad mood.

Comments: This place is cheap and the staff is great (friendly and helpful). Grat free breakfast between 7 and 9. However, the hostel itself is dirty, very noisy and there are no lockers in the rooms.

Comments: Excellent breakfast! The hostel is ok and not to far from the centre. However, it is quite easy to follow the conversations of the people next door. If it was cleaner and had some more furniture in the rooms and if the water was drinkable, it would be much better.

Comments: This hostel is so old in parts, that it really needs pulling down - which they are contemplating as far as I know. Some showers did not even offer a trickle of water. No lockers in dorms. The common rooms were lovely but the dorms tatty, and I never saw any cleaning staff there. No brushes on the loos either! Breakfast is fantastic and people are very friendly.

Comments: scandalous quality of the room (less than 10 m2 for a 4 bedded room) : no chair, no table, dirty floor. The sanitaries were really deficient : on our floor, 1 WC had a broken lock, 1 was out of order because completely full. the showers had only cold water after 7:15 am. some of them had a broken lock. And I don't speak about the noise of our neighbours, which didn't make our nights very quiet. So I consider that the price was really outrageous considering all these problems.
