Comments: The hostel is ideally situated for anything that you want to do in London. 2 tube stations within 5 minutes walking distance means you can get just about anywhere you want. It is safe, quiet (for downtown London) and has a mixture of different guests.

Comments: Either the hostel is mod infested, or extremely dusty, because I had an awful allergic reaction every time I set foot in the building. My symptoms included congestion, and coughing, and when I would wake up in the morning my eyes would be completely crusted over. Unfortunately it was the hostel that caused these problems as when I went out for the day all the symptoms stopped.

Comments: Stayed 11 nights & my sheets & towel not changed! Often toilets blocked. Breakfast rationed tiny scoop b-beans & if you have b-beans = not allowed tomato! Dinner meal prices reasonable but small portions! Room is noisy. No foresight to sound proof rooms nor windows. Has laundry providing staff dont throw clothes out of the dryer for kitchen use. Would not stay there again.

Comments: I felt so comfortable here I stayed for much of a month. An old building - one of the Cathedral\'s original chorus boys\' schools = lots of stairs and the showers could use repainting BUT you hear the bells from just a few yards away!! Breakfast is an excellent FREE buffet that will feed you for hours. Internet\'s a tad expensive at 3 pounds/hr or 10 for 24 hours. Good deep lockers. It\'s not new and shiny but hey - this place is as CENTRAL as it gets. Can\'t be faulted unless you\'re picky

Comments: The hostel was unclean, rundown and felt unsafe. Staff were unfriendly. The bunks were triples and this felt a bit like being in a morgue. A good breakfast and a good location, however stay somewhere else if possible. Pricey at 24 pounds - 27 pound if not a member.

Comments: The rooms in the 5 bed rooms (actually had six beds!) were cramped, the beds were stacked in a interesting way three high, making one feel they are tucking into a dresser drawer for the night. The bathrooms seemed to get dirty fast, and for breakfast there was no egg served with my beans and toast. But I hasten to add the staff was very nice and helpful, from the desk to the dining room. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Comments: stayed there for 13 days. While that I received only ONE smile from ONE staff member. The rest of the time they work like if it was a sacrifice to receive us. Benches or chairs (or something similar) are absolutely necessary in the shower roms, where you have nowhere to put clothes, keys and personal items while in the shower. The breakfast was ok, so was dinner, though we saw a few mice running across the restaurant.

Comments: Overall, one of the best hostels I've ever visited--and I have stayed at many! I thought the price here was a bit steep, but what isn't these days in London? This hostel is an especially good place to lounge around and chat with interesting and generally more mature fellow travelers than what I've typically found at other hostels. Great lounge area with comfy furniture too.

Comments: Good hostel; room and linen had fresh clean smell. Sink in room was very handy and there were a good number of toilets and showers on our floor - never had to wait. Gorgeous power showers. Lockable storage in rooms was large and very secure.

Comments: If the kitchen staff had put a bit of effort into the vegetarian options for breakfast it would have been better. The dorm I was in was both very cramped and very hot.

Comments: This hostel is close to alot of the tourist things but is in a terrible location for going out at night. It seems to be a family hostel with tons of families and old people so it's not great for meeting people. The staff here was very unfriendly and the breakfast was pretty bad. Don't think i'd stay here again.

Comments: Decent place for the price. No soap for the toilets or towels included. Bring your own and locks for the lockers. The place charges 3.5 pounds for one small worn looking towel. Breakfast is good. Showers are clean. Nice crowd of people stay there.
