Don\'t forget you\'re sleeping bag either, I imagine it would be quite chilly without one. For one or two nights it was fine, but I wouldn\'t want to holiday there. It was quite far out, a longish bus ride to the town center which was a pain. The girl on the desk was nice though and the bathroom facilities were adequate. Security wasn\'t great though basically anyone could walk into your tent being a tent and all.

The hostess provides you all the information you need including maps. The shower block is really clean and the showers are powerful and hot. A great place to stay if you don\'t mind staying in a spacious tent. We stayed there through a thunderstorm and it was dry and warm!

We are very satisfied by the camping although it gave us the impression that there was no security. It is located a bit far of the center (about 20min by bus) but the bus stop is right outside. I would stay in Camping Nord Sam next time, we went there by mistake on the way and the place is so much nicer and the staff were much friendlier. Camping Kasern has no character, it is really just a big field and they charge €6 an hour for the use of the internet! They do have good shower facilities though.

Stuff was very helpful but toilets and showers were dirty and smell from toilet part in caravan wasn't pleasant. We never catch hot water in showers (only warm).

A beautiful place to wake up. I recommend you get them to do your washing it is a bargin and they do a great job!

They had an excellent selection of chilled drinks and food for sale including soya products which made my trip! There is a full kitchen, clean showers and toilets. This accomadation; especially considering the price was the best the 6 of us had on our entire trip!

Very clean and easy to get to by bus. About 15 to 20 minutes to the center of Salzburg. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating India 14th July 2008 Male 18-24 3/5 Comments: If its raining in SAlzburg, sleeping in a tent may not be a great idea but we did and it was not too bad. 4 beds in a tent. 2 were clean and 2 had some kind of stains on the sheets. The bus stop is right outside and bus no 21 is really convenient. The lady at the reception was very cheerful and helpful, gave us enough warm blankets. I would stay there again, but would take a look at the weather forecast before doing so, If its going to be cold, I might reconsider.. but all in all, a decent stay!

The bus ticket to get there is expensive but thankfully the driver didn't make us pay, but I wouldn't count on that always happening. You stay in a tent with four beds and not much else. The showers are really good.

For those who cares much about budget than luxury, this camp is recommended.

Staff was great but the only reason for the average marks are simply the fact that you cant compare a hostel to a camp site.

The staff are extremely helpful and kind. If you want a break from the hostel life and didn't bring your own tent, definitely check it out. The bus stops right at the camp site so even though it's a little ways out of the city it is very easy to get around town.

It was nice and clean with good warm showers and not hard to get to.
