Comments: As far as Amsterdam goes, this was a good place to stay for the price, right near Vondelpark. The room had all the basic hotel room stuff and we happened to have doors out to the back roof which was a nice way to get fresh air. Hotel definitely seemed safe, it's on a street with expensive stores. Bedding, sink, etc. all totally clean but the walls were a little dirty. Not really a bit deal since this place is priced more like a hostel than a hotel.

Comments: The location is great: it's near good stores, bars and restaurants. The room is small and it's not very clean. The breakfast is poor. But the main problem (and believe me, it's a great problem) is the stairs. I took a room in the third floor and it was a hell-work to take the bags upstairs. There is nobody to help. It's even hard to get to the room after a long walk, so imagine if you have a 15-kg-bag. I wouldn't stay there again unless they hire somebody to take the lugagge upstairs.

Comments: This hotel is located outside the downtown area, near the van gogh museum. Is is in a neighborhood of expensive shopping. There are no grocery stores, coffeeshops, or affordable food, anywhere around. The staff was not helpful and the directions sucked. It was affordable, and soemtimes this is enough. We could take trams or walk into town to sightseeor coffeeshop.

Comments: There are some unjust bad reviews on here. Sounds like some grumpy people. I am not gonna lie though, the stairs are STEEP. But that\'s why they have railings... Hold on to them! The staff was friendly, although the one guy seemed to either have allergies or was high. You are charged 5% for using a credit card. We got a room on the \"second\" floor... which is actually the 3rd floor. The trek up the stairs saved me $40 on a trip to the gym! :) It was very clean and quiet (even though they were full). We didn\'t stay long enough for breakfast, but it was a pretty good place. Expensive, but pretty good.

Comments: Steps were very steep and neighbors super load. My son slipped twice down the stair case. No lift no real comunication with staff once you are assigned to your room.l

Comments: We stayed at the four bedded room on the top floor wich was very comfy and quite clean although there were many disfunctions like broken wc windows and mini bar out of order! Very narrow stairs(typical Amsterdam though)and of course no lift!A 3rd floor room with those stairs was an endless journey!Locations is EXCELLENT and a tram& bus station were quite near!I guess prices could be lower but a\'am prices aren\'t cheap at all. Not a bad place to stay at all...Great moments!!!

Comments: Additional costs 5% were added after arrival, not announced. The staff unfriendly. Got chased out of the restaurant app. 30 sec. after end of breakfast. The hotel more than twice as expensive as a better located and much cleaner hostel (Singel365). A 4star hotel can be had at almost the same price. I strongly recommend others to stay away.

Comments: THe bedroom is very small but cosy. We had a little balcony which was really nice. The bed was alright, no major complains. The guy that works there is kinda... weird. he is not very friendly but its not rude also. Hated the stairs but ...well... Clean facilities, we had a shared bathroom and it was very descent. Nice breakfast.I didnt actually liked the location, it was not bad but i sure rather stay somewhere else next time.

Comments: This place was really nice, a little expensive but very clean and safe. It is located in the museum area which is very nice, its about a 1 stop tram ride into the first square- leidseplein so you aren't far from the action. If you have the cash to spend definitly stay here.

Comments: Bellington is a calm modest cheap hotel located in the museum district, just a three minute walk from Rejksmuseum and Van Gogh museum ( before we came we hadn't known it was located in the street of luxury boutiques. But round the corner there's a nice bakery). Compared to Leidseplein and Dam it's calm at night with no one screaming and yelling when you want to get some sleep after a day of exploring Amsterdam. The stuff is inconspicuous and friendly. The room is very small, for us it was OK. No problems with a shower and a bathroom. There's a sink in the room. I'd describe the hotel as nothing special but for such a price it's just value for money!! If you plan to spend most of the time outside and just come to your room to have a sleep and to take a shower it's a good choice.

Comments: Easy to get to from tram 1, 2 or 5. 10 minutes walking to Leizsplein where lots of restaurants, shopping and coffee shops are. 10 minutes walking from Heineken Tour. The stairs to reception and to the rooms are super steep and there is no elevator. Sucks if you get a room with shared bathroom and you are on the first floor and you have to climb a super steep staircase to the second floor to use the toilet or shower. Nice breakfast.

Comments: Nice quiet but central location on the most swanky shopping street in the city - next door to Chanel!
