The mornining meal she provided was outstanding. IMy only complaint would be that the place is somewhat difficult to find, although it is very well situated in the center of the city. Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 29th September 2008 Female 25-30 4/5 Comments: we had a wonderful stay in the B&B hostel, and would like to recommend it. we stayed at the Spuistrate building, since we asked for shared bathroom. it felt like home, a nice room, shared kitchem with free food and make your own breakfast which was good, and a nice place to seat and eat. we hardly saw our nighbours and host and felt as if it was a private appartment! the host was very nice, and we would like to thank her for her warm welcome and for her recommendation regarding the bike trip to the country side out of Amsterdam, it was a great experience. and the best thing - next to the hostel on Spui street there is an amazing Indian restaurant, with reasonable prices and excellent service.

The position is great and it feels like we have our own space in a cute flat beside the canal. Out hosts have done everything possible to make this a great place. There are 2 spacious bedrooms onto a little living-kitchenette so it was ideal for 2 couples.

REALLY helpful staff- we talked for over an hour about Amsterdam! The B&B was spotless and there was lots of food (self catered, but this was better!) A nice location in a safe street. Steep flight of stairs to walk up with luggage but most places in Amsterdam are like this. Very nice friendly staff.

You have all the 3rd floor of a typical dutch "huis": a huge bedroom with a table where you will have a sumptuous breakfast, a corridor and two private bathroom, one with toilets and the other with a big shower. The host, Annette, is awesome, she gave us a bottle of italian wine of our region as a welcoming gift, really the greatest hospitality ever seen! There's only one double so you will be the only guests in her beautiful house.

The fridge was stocked with breakfast food the first day which was great, but was never re-stocked so we had to buy our own breakfast, which was disappointing after paying for a B and B. Angela wasn´t there when we were there though so this might not have been a normal experience. We also had to wait for 30 mins outside before anyone came to let us in, but again, this was likely because Angela was out of town while we were there.
