The staff are helpful and can make suggestions, book tours etc. Cheap breakfasts (better to pay 2 euro for a good breakfast than a piece of stale bread for free like some hostels!) Individual lights in the dorms would be good as we kept being woken by our room mates turning on the main light.

Also, felt very safe since there are lockers for your stuff inside your room. Friendly staff who are willing to help answer questions :) Well worth the price.

The kitchen was out of all menu items expect for a couple things and in Salzburg, NOTHING is open on Sunday so we had to eat there. All in all, a good place to stay. Plus, they let me check in a little early which was really nice. Also, there is a 5 Euro disposit for the room key which they didn't indicate before hand.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Scotland 8th November 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: The atmosphere wasnt brilliant, and there wasnt anything to do in the hostel between breakfast and the bar opening at 6pm so if you wanted to relax in the hostel for a bit it was pretty boring. The Sound of Music was not played at all due to technical difficulties. They claimed a man was coming into fix it but it wasnt fixed by the time we left and when we asked a different member of staff about it he had no idea it was even broken. Was just all a bit dull and disappointing.

Food service is very slow, but the meals are delicious. The bar is a great place to meet fellow travellers, especially during happy hour.
