Comments: Clean and quiet en suit room. Breakfast in another house, little inconvenient but ok. Staff (Philp) and mrs Totti were very nice. We stayed 7 nigths and saw everything you have to see in Rome but it was unpleasant to see the city full of litter and grafitti. /R and M, Sweden

Comments: Not exactly a hostel; an extended B&B would be a more accurate description. That said, it's the best B&B I've stayed at.

Comments: Location was good but noisy. Breakfast was all purchased, wrapped items. No fresh baked goods and no meat and cheese or dry cereal. The owner was good about accommodating our early departure.

Comments: we were only there a day but from our day experience the room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable and the host was very nice. We had a free breakfast but we were leaving too early in the morning we told her not to worry about it we wouldn't have enough time to eat. But the hostel was very close walking distance to the main attractions and sites and in a good area. I would recommend this hostel to anyone.

Comments: We got more than we had expected for this rate. The staff (a man) was very friendly and polite. The room was huge. It looked more like a hotel than a hostel. The onely disadvantage of the room was that the bathroom was at the opposite of the hallway, while it should have been ensuite. The breakfast was at a very cosy location in the garden of the hostel. The coffee was good and the rest was okay. It didn't exceed our expextations like the room did though.

Comments: You pretty much stay in a lady's house. She speaks almost zero english. The breakfast is kind of gross. It's close to most stuff is the only plus. I would definatly try and find another place to stay. It's weird staying here.

Comments: We had room with bathroom, A/C & fridge. Everything was newly renovated & clean and neat. Personnel is friendly as much as possible through language barrier. Breakfasts were simply excellent. Supermarket and restaurants are just across the street. Merit of location is near Termini railway and metro station, demerit is some drunken individuals which are probably on all railway stations in the world :-). This is our 2nd visit of Roma. We will choose A Casa Totti again. Jan & Vendy

Comments: We didn\'t realize that it was a bed and breakfast until we got there and we were VERY happy with the discovery! Breakfast was served outside in the garden/patio area which was gorgeous! Staff was fantastic and so friendly (including the cat and the special appearance made by Ms Totti\'s grandson)! The room we stayed in was quite large and the bed was very comfortable. You can\'t beat the location...it\'s so close to Termini! We would definitely go back again!

Comments: Even if it was winter the room was quite cold. You had to sleep with your clothes on. The room had an air conditioner but there was no remote to control it.

Comments: The room was clean, but there was nothing exceptional. The breakfast was italian, which to me means they give you hard bread, butter, jam, and coffee, but plenty of it. There were some fruits also. I liked the proximity to Termini, but that also means that only a few blocks away were smelly, traffic-filled streets. The room was exceptionally quiet, though.

Comments: After my first night, they had to move me to a different hostel which in fact, was better than this one. But walking the extra 8, 10 blocks with my heavy bag was no easy thing. A reason why I chose it was that it was close to the station. It wasn't comfortable.

Comments: Mrs Totti was fantastic, a very lovely and accomodating lady! Although she spoke very little English we were able to communicate without too much trouble. Breakfast was ready at whatever time suited us with plenty to eat. Room a bit hot as no fan or a/c, but locked shutters on windows meant could leave windows open. Quite a noisy area but nothing ear plugs won't fix. Only downside the shower was very small and not so clean. Great location, 3-4min walk to Termini train station! We walked everywhere, except Vatican City which we took a disgustingly hot overcrowded Metro to. Would definitely stay with Mrs Totti again! A nice change to stay in B&B environment.

Comments: We had a fantastic time at Signora Totti's place, thank you very much! The garden with the huge palm tree, where we had our breakfast, is one of the highlights of this B&B. We'll definitelly come back!

Comments: Mrs Totti is a kind woman. She (in a poor English) tries to help you and give you advice. If you need her or something from her, you just have to tell her. Our last day in Rome we left our luggage in her house, instead of paying a left luggage office. Take care if you are a cat allergic, she has one (Kika). The room was new remodeled, with a new clean bathroom. It has air conditioning (you need to pay an addition amount of 5 €/day). It is well placed (near Termini) but not 5 minutes from Colliseum (you need about 15 min walking). It is all and all a recommended place to stay.

Comments: Great location, near train station and bus links to airport. and also town and all sights! Typical Italian Pensione, with a lovely landlady, she speaks as much english as we speak italian (un poco!!) but is very friendly. she has a cat, called Kika and she greets you as you enter and leave the apartment, seemingly omnipresent and always with a view on good tourist attractions, albeit in a mixture of english and italian. smile and nod, smile and nod. all in all, great value, location, security, and italian character- would highly recommend it.

Comments: Mrs. Totti is one of the best hosts you can get anywhere and she serves a lovely breakfast with lots of good strong Italian coffee. And al that in a quiet street in the middle of Rome a mere five minute walk from Termini Rail Station. I had a great time there.
