The rooms just to the top of the stairs were the smallest ones. We changed rooms to a improved one on our last day. Much better. Centralized in Nice. Safe location. Most likely try another place in the same location next time or get the better room right away.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating France 24th August 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: We met three receptionist of which two were unfriendly to the point of rudeness. we had a private room and shared the bathroom. everytime we wanted a shower we had to ask at reception for the the key. however the bathroom was very clean. the mattress on the bed was very very soft!!! the location was very good and the room was clean (but could do witha lcik fo paint) so good enough value for money.

The location is excellent, 15 min walk from the train station but you can get the tram (2 stops down) if it's too hot! Can only get Wifi in the common room. The staff were helpful.

They were very helpful staff and the day receptionist was extremely lovely to us. They stored our bags for two days as we had other places to go to, it was very helpful. I totaly reccommend this hotel, for location, staff help and security.

The shower curtain was moldy. Only one of the three attendants was friendly; the other two seemed annoyed every time we dropped off or picked up the key (a required action whenever you leave the hotel). The location was very good; it was walking distance to the beach and the Old Town.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 18th July 2008 Couple 18-24 3/5 Comments: We had a pleasant stay, if it wasn't for the extremely grumpy old man at the desk when we arrived. it has a very good location, although the rooms are a little pokey. We got a very good rate, as we realised when we were charged much less than people who were sponaneously arriving. I would have a lot more to complain about if we'd paid over 25 Euros per person. Also, 8 euros for breakfast was very steep for what it was. We didn't buy it but got a clear view of what was on offer. It was okay, but there was a Monoprix just down the road. Buy your breakfast there!

Excellent location and wonderful breakfasts, also great to provide internet use and tour assistance.

The rooms are absolutely filthy, I swear there were blood stains on our floor. The blankets looked like they hadn't been washed for about 20 years. The showers were covered in mold. The worst part is that MONEY was STOLEN from our room while we were out and the staff did NOTHING about it!!! They blamed it on us, saying it was one of our own friends traveling with us. Then the guy working would not let us talk to the manager. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel. Spend a few more Euros and get a better place, not a crappy hole in the wall with rude employees!

It was very close to the beach and to the plaza where all of the night life was. The staff was nice and they even give you towels to use for the beach. There was only one computer but it was free to use the internet. We thought it was kinda weird to have to give our key to the front office everytime we left and they would just hand it to us when we came back . . . didn't feel 100% on the security. Overall it was a great place to stay.

The room and bathroom are clean, beds are clean and comfortable- Great location to get around. If backpacking i suggest getting the tram or bus to the train station because it is a bit of a walk. Free internet is always a plus.

He told us buses and trains to take for traveling and, when he didn't know an answer, he looked it up for us online. The room itself was proper and good value for what we spent.
