Comments: this hotel wasn't our favourite. the room was clean, but the kitchen was filthy and basically empty of plates, cutlery and cooking utensils. there was only one key per room, and one time we were given the wrong key- we could've walked straight into someone else's room! the location was good, very close to the train station and not too far from the beach. ok for a night or 2, wouldn't plan a long stay here.

Comments: Convenient location & hotel amenities but lacks the social element of a hostel. If you do not care about the hostel experience this is a good value and it\'s close to the train station and downtown.

| Comments: its a good location in one respect as its close to the station for early trains, but its miles from the old town with the nightlife and bars, or the beach.
any problem we had they were on hand to help us out but staff did try to hide a bottle of our wine, which we only discovered after poking around. i enjoyed sharing our wine with them on the 1st night for laughs, but hiding its out of line;3€ is all you need folks! |

Comments: no lockers and the atmosphere is not the most fun, but as long as you plan on going out and not staying in the hostel, you're fine! free internet computers to use. downside is 1 am curfew.

Comments: Had a pretty fun time in nice and the hostel was great. A little inconvenient only having 2 keys per room though. good vibe on some nights and great places to go out, other nights were hit and miss.

Comments: This is a hotel that has been converted to a hostel. Not much going on, but there is a chill out room and kitchen. My room had no head in the shower so the water just spurted out of the wall!

Comments: The hostel actually looks and runs like a motel. A very nice hostel but unfortanetly its located on a very bad neighborhood! DO NOT do your laundry around the corner, because my sister's wallet was stolen!!! The beach is a good 10-15mins walk, but a very enjoyable walk. Close to the train station. The rooms were really nice.

Comments: Really nice hostel. One drawback was they only have one key per dorm room. It is also in the red light district, which is a bit grungy. Free internet, pleasant staff, good sized rooms, working showers.

Comments: Hotel Baccarat is the best hostel I've ever stayed at!!! The owner Dan is very kind and the staff is likewise friendly. The room was VERY clean to start with and cleaned daily. I got to meet really wonderful people. Location was also great, a short walk from the train station and the beach. I'll recommend this hostel (or should I say hotel? lol) to all my friends coming to Nice. It's cheap and awesome!!!!

Comments: A really good hostel, only 2 small complaints, no lockers, and that you have to leave your key at the front desk when the last person leaves the room, slightly inconvenient. Overall, a really nice hostel with the absolute BEST LOCATION for the city of Nice, highly recommend

Comments: More like a hotel than a hostel. Theres no kitchen or bar but theres good internet access and the cleanliness is good. Conveniently close to the rail and not too far from the beach. Some staff are a bit moody.

Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Baccarat and although it was not as close to the beach as we had hoped, we still enjoyed the walk there. The close proximity to the train station was very convenient for day trips to Monaco, etc. The hotel staff was very helpful upon arrival and provided us with a map and directions to all of the places we wanted to see during our stay. We were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our room, considering how affordable the stay was.
