The girls at the desk were very warm, welcoming, helpful and all smiles. As soon as you come down for breakfast they offer you a latte, cappuccino, etc. I got cold and they offered more blankets but outdid themselves by offering an area heater. The place was not fancy, but very clean , no shower curtain in our room. Our view from our balcony was not pretty at all, but I spent so little time in the room that it did not matter.

Con un clima meno estremo, soprattutto per la posizione centrale, la pulizia e la grande disponibilità del personale, può essere senz'altro una buona soluzione per chi desidera visitare la splendida Perugia (magari anche i dintorni) e non dispone di grandi budget.

When I arrived I got told I was booked in at the Hotel Iris as there had been a mix-up (this was disappointing as I booked on Trav). The Hotel Iris was okay. There just was not any atmosphere. Would be great if the hotel staff booked tours & would be good if there was a common area.

The hotel's 'selling point' is that it's reasonable priced considering it's strategic location near the town centre and bus station. I stayed here during 30-31 oktober. Staff is very friendly, they even made a sprint to the bus where I was already seated, to hand over my passport.

Its location is ideal for trekking in the Centro Storico, and the staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Sant'Ercolano!
