Cash only payment, fortuntely we thought that this would be so although it was not made entirely clear on the web site. The room was not very clean and the bed was broken. To be honest it is just a place to crash and not somewhere to get comfortable. Absolutely fantastic location.

The apartment looks nice, but is not very clean and needs renovation. The TV and the aircon didn´t work and the kitchen was not fully equipped, like it was written. But it is really only some minutes walk from S.Mark´s square!!

We arrived at where we thought was the hostel only to find that it was the reception and we had to make another long journey to the apartment. The apartment was very damp smelling and poorly maintained. Although the location couldn't have been better.....right on St Mark's Square's doorstep.

Amazing location just a few minute from st Marks square but still private and quiet. Lots of space and full of character. The guy at Hotel Antico Capon was really helpful. We loved Venice and will definately be returning and will make sure we stay here again.

The apartment is great. The location is perfect, very close to the Piazza di S. Marco and despite the very old looks at the outside, inside you will find lots of room, a small but cosy kitchnet, a wide and well equiped bathroom, and a very nice room. The best part of it, for us, was the outside yard, perfect for a romantic candle-light dinner. For the price, it's great. The fun you get, it's all up to you! Enjoy it.

The manager of the hotel was rude and shady. He made us pay in cash only. No towels or toilet papers. Smelt like the basement. Freezing cold. Area around apartment is scary at night. NOT RECOMMENDED.

It's run by the Antico Capon hostel, so you'll have to pick up the key from that hostel. The apartment was kind of cold, so be sure to ask the hotel staff to turn on the heat if you're there in cold weather.

Even the bed was damp! A very good location but I wouldn't recommend this place as the dampness ruins your holiday

Only disadvantage: it's a 30 minute walk from the Hotel Anitca Capon to Da Marko, and check-in is only after 2pm. Staff at Antica Capon is good ane multi-languaged, though!
