The fridge was not very cold and quite dirty.There was a dishwasher (a luxury I know) b ut it smelled so bad there is no way you would use it. The people running the apartments messed up the booking and, after telling us we could stay until 2pm on the last day, let themselves in and told us we had to leave as more people were arriving at 3pm.

Too many emails, with the same warnings over-repeated again and again, but if you have doubts, nobody answer. We were not sure whether the booking was processed until the end, becoming stressful. The "apartment" was minimalist: one must wash and shave in the kitchen sink (the only one) and cook standing on a chair. Cooking elements were scarce and in some cases dirty. Elements that were supposed to be provided, as toilet paper, were absent.

The room was "cosy" but very basic and a bit far our of town if you like to P-A-R-T-Y with fellow backpackers. Not sure you get what you pay for, Coffee shop and Supermarket nearby for essentials.

The guy who does all the meeting + greeting is helpful but did come across as a bit sleazy but gives good advice about taxis etc. If you are going for a drunken/stoning weekend just ask for an apartment not on the third floor because the stairs are seep and narrow and not easy to negotiate when drunk! Overall a good stay.

Excellent if your staying out most of the time. TV aswell with CNN and News 24!. Amstel station is located 10 mins walk away!. If your going to amsterdam for its RLD try Alkmaar and Utrecht there a lot cheaper and the girls are nicer but go at night around 9pm!.

However upon seeing the studio room, I felt good. Coming in there were two doors before the common kitchen. From the kitchen, the central room, there was a room with a semi permanent resident, which was a bit uncomfortable as he liked to have his door open. Every door had a lock on it and there was a safe deposit box in our room. Our room had a bed, big window and shelves with a TV on it. The covers weren't very clean. Towels weren't offered, but available for rent. Showers were hot. Overall everything was good. But don't expect too much.

It is alot cheaper than other accomodation and clean and nice, it is also in a comfortable location. Not right in the city but close enough for the cost, I would recomended it if you have patence with the booking procedure.

The one thing is that there is a key deposit of €150 that I didnt know about until i had already paid my deposit and stuff! Just an FYI!

Bit concerned about the broken front door and wasn't made fully aware how far away from the centre it was. However, the tram was reliable and efficient and didn't bother us too much.

The double beds are on the small side. Management are good and very informative. Great location on the Amstel river. Best option is to hire bicycles from the station (6-7euro/day).
