| Comments: The hotel was very noisey! There was drills and hammers going off every morning, even on saturday! The scalfolding right outside the window was not very attractive either ! Apart from that it was a great hotel. The staff were lovely and really helpfull. The room was clean and had lots of space. It will be fantastic when all the building work has finished ! |

| Comments: They messed up our reservation, kept us late, we found rubbish under our beds, and if you fancy a ly in.. there is a building site surrounding the hotel 7 days a week!

| Comments: The hotel is ok, but I find it dishonest not to inform on the internet about the fact that it is located right beside the DART railway (our room was like 5 meters from it, so when a train passed by (very often) the whole room started shaking)... |

| Comments: Nice hostel in general for the location in relation to the city center. Seemed to be overpriced for the size of the room you paid for. |

| Comments: Well, this is an hotel, and not a hostel, so it exceeds all expectations if you are used to the hostel way of life. Do not expect too much partying or people hanging around, although.
Besides, the staff was very kind, the rooms were big and very clean.
It is true that this hotel is situated near the railway, but from our room we could hear no noise or vibrations.
Only remark: breakfast is not included and costs € 9.95 (Irish-style). |

| Comments: Though the close proximity to the DART and LUAS train stations is a real positive for exploring the city and environs, the downside is that trains run directly next to your room. The entire place shakes whenever a train arrives or departs. Aside from this, good hotel with a nice Ulysses connection. Would reccomend unless you are a light sleeper. |

| Comments: Was dissapointed that we rang 24hours prior to booking to cancel one night accomodation adn was told that we would have to pay the full amount of the booking, even though in teh policy it says any change to the booking needs to be changed 24hrs prior and direct to the hotel!! |

| Comments: When we arrived at the hotel for our 11am check in the staff had no record of my booking. After returning at 2pm i was told that i had cancelled my booking previously! Eventually we were given a room next door to a building site, loud drilling noises commenced at 9am each morning! The room had no safe, and smelt strongly of cigarete smoke, i requested otherwise. Overall we were very disapointed with our accomodation, and i would advise against anyone else staying with the north star hotel. |

| Comments: Being woken up every morning to the sound of hammers, drills and saws was unbelievable! Payed for 3 nights tried saying that it was only 2. I also found dirty hairs all over the supposed clean bed. We have been
traveling for 4 weeks now and this was the worst hotel! |

| Comments: the room was not cleaned properly as clothing from a previous guest lay under the pillow. However, after contacting staff we were moved to another room, which was clean. There is also work being done on the hotel, hammer bashing will start around 8.30am so be prepared. |

| Comments: This is my regular haunt! Only two grumbles were that the power switch (enabled by inserting the key card for the room) was dodgy, and the handrail in the bathroom needed to be fixed. Other than that, a splendid stay as always! |

| Comments: Getting work done and the hotel had water pouring in from 4th floor down to basement. Running down inside lift and staff using buckets to collect water. took 30mins before they deemed the lift us unsafe!!! Major health and safety risk here. Advised not to stay until repairs and building work is complete!!! |

| Comments: Excellent location by the main train station and a very short walk to the bus terminal that takes you to and from the ferry. A short walk to many restaurants and internet cafes as well as to all the pubs across the river. A little pricey, but it was a nice place to stay and very clean. |

| Comments: A nice hotel located close to the station, about 3 minutes from O'Connell Street and a 20 min stroll away from Temple Bar. The room we stayed in was big and we loved the lounge and the pub at the premises. The breakfast was a great and the staff is amazing! We would definitely stay here the next time we go back. |

| Comments: Very good service. Excellent value. Other Hotels
are much more expensive. There's no parking
thats the down side but yet for the price I was charged it was a minor inconvience in the scale of my judgement. |

| Comments: Nice stay with the basic conditions for a 3 stars hotel.
Main bus and rail station close to it and 5 minutes walking to Connolly Street (city centre), so great for communications and going to the centre.
Slight noise because of trains but not disturbing.
Good in general. |

| Comments: Unfortunately I couldn't stay this time - I hurt my leg (while jogging!) the night before I was due to stay in Dublin, and a plastercast made it impossible to travel. However, when I went to cancel, I was informed that I would still be charged for the night because I didn't give 24 hours notice .... of a freak injury??!? |

| Comments: This was a good hotel. Breakfast was not included with Travs booking. You could purchase it for 9.95 Euros from the hotel, but we just went to cafes in the centre for breakfast as you could get it far cheaper.
Its right next to a trainline and when the windows were open it was a bit noisy, but with the windows shut you never noticed it. Its in a very good location and within walking distance of all the main attractions and bars. |

| Comments: Too noisy - every few minutes the trains come thumping past the hotel and rattles the room. Seems a bit too close.
Fri/Sat/Sun nights the band was playing, couldn't sleep, it was very noisy! |

| Comments: The location was great! Close to everything, just a short walk to all the tourist attractions. The DART was located right next door but was only noisy in the lobby. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The hotel was a very good bargain for the price and the amenities; however, they claimed to have laudry facilities and internet access and they did not have either available. Overall a nice place to stay for traveling on a budget. |

| Comments: The Hotel is near the centre en very close to the busstation (bus for the Airport).
Ask for a room in the backside. In the front the rooms are very small and noisy because of the traintracks. The hotel is next to the trainstation. |

| Comments: The North Star Hotel is an excellent accomodation both for long and short stayings. I really enjoyed time spent there. Good placed, close both to the city centre and the main bus and train stations. Just around the corner (stations) or 10 minutes walking (Temple Bar) is extremely easy to reach and to leave from tha North Star Hotel. |

| Comments: not as noisy as you may expect just being by the station- really convienient position- 5min walk from the bus stop where the air-link transfer drops you on arrival and main shopping on O'Connell street very close and Temple Bar, cathedrals and museums all easy walking distance. Pleasant stay- think breakfast could have been included in the price though. |
