| Comments: We are very satisfied with the hostel. It's very clean and secure, easy to find, and really near the colloseum. The bus stop and the metro are near, and from the city center to take a cab to the hostel is not expensive. The room is a little bit too small, but.... we went to Rome for sightseeing. So, when we come back in Rome, we\\\\\\\'ll be staying in the same hostel, the Arena house. T&Z |

| Comments: We loved this place. The hosts were fantastic and really lovely. They were always available to give us a hand or point us in the right direction. Very simple place but we were very comfortable and the location was great being a couple of blocks from the Coliseum. There are plenty of small restaurants and a couple of supermarkets close by. We would definately stay at Arenahouse again. |

| Comments: I have stayed in a bunch of different hostels throughout the world, BUT THIS WAS BY THE BEST. The service and staff was impeccable. I mean, OUTSTANDING. The nicest people I have ever met, in ANY COUNTRY. The location was great! RIGHT across the street from the colossium. Very clean, towels were provided, TV, cable, breakfast was included- it was a tremendous place. I recommend this place to anyone, anytime! |

| Comments: Located in a quiet, green neighborhood next to the Colosseum, this place is cozy and central. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are small but nice (all you need in a city like Rome), equipped with A/C, TV and computer with internet connection. A good choice. |

| Comments: Arena House is great! 10 minutes walk to Colleseum Metro - though we only ever caught the bus. Catching the bus was very easy with many bus stops scattered within 5-10 minutes walk from Arena House. Barbara and Vincent (the hosts) are looovely! Always on hand to answer any questions you may have. Breakfast was standard - you're given breakfast vouchers that you simply take with you to a cafe down the road - get a coffee and youir choice of one pastry. Italians generally don't have big breakfasts! Double room a bit small but it was cosy. And really clean! Shower was a little small too but it was fine. Complimentary juice and coffee/tea were on hand which was good. Arena House is highly recommended! Good value! |

| Comments: Very well located near the Colosseo and in walking distance to dowtown centrum. The room was small, but clean and with free internet! Breakfast in coffeebar nearby was good and made us feel real Italian! But most important: the owners of the hostel and staff were very friendly! They welcomed us as if we were guests in their own house.
Wem can recommend this hostel to everyone! |

| Comments: Fantastic location right next to colloseum, and the owners are so lovely and helpful.
Unfortunately though our room had a terrible smell due to damp bed covers being put on. Also, room had no character, and was a little depressing with no decent lighting. Possibly also had some bed bug bites during the stay. Breakfast very minimal - you are given a voucher for cafe across the street which allows a coffee and a croissant.
Such a shame, as this place could be great. |

| Comments: This is a wonderful guest house near Colosseum. We walked pass colosseum every day whilst staying in this guest house. The owner was very kind and funny. He gave us a map and told us how to get to the main tourist attraction from the guest house. We had a double room ensuite and it was a fair size. The shower area was a bit small. I am petite and kept knocking my elbow on the wall when washing my hair... I cant imagine how taller guys manage this. However, I DO NOT think it is a HUGE problem since the bathroom and the room is cleaned everyday. The room has a TV but we did not watch it because we were out most of the day and by the time we reached the guest room we were too tired to watch any TV plus the programmes were in Italian... The best thing about the room is the PC with INTERNET connection of course!!! We could look for any infos on the net about Rome or other stuff. The room has got a large cupboard as well... It\'s not noisy at night as the window is not facing the main road... Location is fantastic as the Colosseum greets u every morning! It is in a better area than the ones near Termini Station. The nearest underground stop is Colosseo. Breakfast is included as well... I am not dissapointed on the breakfast eventhough it only consisted of a drink (tea or coffee) and croissant because I knew about this b4 I decided to stay in Arena Guest House. It was said that Italian breakfast is like that, just a light breakfast. This might be the reason why we do not see Italian people with obesity problem! So for those who are used to something like English traditional breakfast, you might be a bit dissapointed when it comes to breakfast! Outside our room, there is a mini fridge for us to help ourselves with orange juice and other beverages... no extra charges. Talking about security, the guest house is located next to police station... There is a Italian restaurant called Gran Caffe.Rossi Martini or Pizza del Colosseo that I highly recommended. I tried few restaurant near the guest house and this turned out to be at the top spot... I tried Seafood spagetti and lasagne... They were lovely! The staff were super friendly as well... |

| Comments: Fantastic budget hostel. The lady on reception was super friendly and tried to learn eglish phrases from us. Large clean rooms with computer in room. Cleaned daily. Breakfast is coffee and pastries in nearby cafe. Ideally locaed for Collosseum and short walk from many sights. Didn\'t see anyone else whilst staying there- hence the low mark for fun. Would reccomend to anyone. Excellent!! |

| Comments: We had a really good time during our stay at Arenahouse. Arriving pretty late at night, we were delighted to be greeted so enthusiastically by Barbara, who also reccommended some excellent restaurants and sights. The room was comfortable and clean, really excellent value for money! The air conditioning and internet access was the icing on the cake for us! A really friendly hotel! |

| Comments: I read lots of reviews on this place and I just couldn't believe they were as good as it said. But I had a great time at the Arena House. THe staff and Vincent are incredibly helpful and kind. The y are hospitable and generous. The rooms were so clean the airconditioning was great! ANd free internet computer in your own room...how can you beat that? I recommend the chocolate crossant at breakfast by far the best....and they even have some rome travel books that we found very helpful for finding great bargains on food. We walked every where too! So have fun and enjoy a wonderful safe clean stay at Arena House! |

| Comments: The Hostel is just around the corner of the Colloseo and the Forum Romanum. Excellent Place to stay, when traveling alone and not too much interested in other Hostelguest. The Staff (Especially Barbara, she is such a lovely person) is not obtrusive , but with you, if you need something. Perfect ! |
