If you want anonymity it may not be the right place, but if you want a chat on the way in and out it's ideal. Communal areas smell strongly of dog-the rooms don't. Had to leave the showers running for at least 10 minutes for hot water. Not walking distance to Bournemouth centre (bus nearby), but 10-15 minutes walk from Boscombe(chav central - wouldn't go there at night).

I couldn't have asked for a better experience in Bournemouth. The food was amazing, the staff hospitable, and only a jump away from the beach. I would gladly recommend this hostel to anyone.

I would recommend for a weekend away! The only thing was the location, that we had to walk 20 min to Bournemouth pier but that is not that bad if u like walking and we did enjoy the walk! The rooms are very clean and they have fruit and cookies everywhere as extras so that was nice.

Bournemouth have nives beaches, Abbey Court is at walking distance of the beaches, close the center of the town (<10 minutes by bus) and close to the train station. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the helpfuls owners, Paul and Anne. Will go back!

The beach is right on the doorstep, so the location is very GOOD! Plus if you want an excellent meal Loretto is a wonderful choice and Abbey's give a discount on the dinner there!!!!
