The room was not very clean- very dusty, toilet had not been cleaned properly since previous guests, and the bed contained more than one little black curly hair. Nothing separating the sheet from the mattress (which was really only a box-spring-and the least comfortable bed i've ever slept in.) The pillows were immensely heavy & hard, yet thin AWFUL. They were easy to exchange before our second night though. Great location but would not stay here again.

The only blemish on my London trip. This is a warning to other travellers if you choose to stay here, be prepared to be asked to moved to poorer alternatives without any reason. I even wanted to call the police to seek for fairness. Imagine you paid in full on your 1st night for 6 nights after 3 nights they ask you to find somewhere else!

George (owner) was friendly and accomodating, allowing me to store my luggage after I checked out. Single room was small but clean, with all appliances (TV, kettle,Hairdryer) working well, continental breakfast was generous and an ideal start to the day. All up a good choice for a budget visit to London.

The bathroom was almost new, but unfortunately there was still hair and dirt lying around from the visitors before. The "continental" breakfast was brought to our room every morning,it contains packagages of juice,rolls,jam and packed croissants and cookies.We had to wash the coffee cups ourselves every day. We were upstairs and the noise of the water pump or something like this is annoying at night!The location is very good!A hotel for no demanding people

The location is very good and it is possible I will go back to this hotel next time I am in London. The only problem is lack of cleanliness and not a very good smell, especially as you enter the hotel.

But I admit it was well located in a centric and beautiful place. In-bed breakfast wasn't bad. Resuming, I think it was a good choice, when I think the price I paid, considering it was London. Of course, in Spain you pay the same and you get much more in all aspects.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Germany 23rd March 2009 Couple 18-24 4/5 Comments: the location is really great!! we had a double room with own bathroom, which was brand new. the room itself had a lot of dust, but at all it was okay. the staff is very very friendly and if you have some wishes the staff will help you immediately. around the house it´s calm and the hyde park will be reached in almost 10 minutes...at all a good hostel for a good price!

We 4 girls arrived at 11pm that night and waked the staff in the lobby up... but the staff was still very kind to welcome us. We requested to have an early breakfast at 7.30am as we had to catch the coach the next morning and our breakfast did arrive at 7.30 sharp the following day!! Many thanks!! :)

It sent me shivering and I had to wear my jacket to bed. On the plus side, it was close to train station and a generous \"convenient food\" breakfast was served each morning.
