Comments: I recommend this friendly hotel, not only because of it's location - near Cadet (metro), but also due to the sympathy of the staff and the cleanliness of rooms.

| Comments: Breakfast was really really good!
There was however a bad smell in our chamber and it was a bit noisy at night.
Initially there was also a problem with the booking, but everything turned out well and it was a great weekend! |

Comments: it would be great if they have a ceiling fan in the room. the back side of the hotel, which is where i had my room, used to get kind of stuffy and couldn't really keep the windows wide open as the window of the next room was so close that i could jump into it. its a decent place, but at 98 euros a night for a single private room, seemed a little too steep.

Comments: Nice and helpful people, walking distance (15 min) to centre, very clean, warm, quiet. Downside is that the parking that they advertize is not actually theirs but public / underground (=expensive). Would go there again.

Comments: The hotel is under renovation, with it's building wrapped around. Our room wasn't facing the street and so for security reason we didn't open the windows, to avoid anyone climbing in.. but as the room doesn't have any ventilation at all, we find it really annoying and uncomfortable in the hot weather. However the room is clean and tidy, great washroom. Excellent with such price for a hotel.

Comments: This place is very nice if you are looking for a hotel in Paris. The staff though is not very helful. They gave the wrong directions to the laundry mat and laughed at us when we walk back with our clothes, defeated. But besides the staff a very good place to stay, comfy beds, good shower, right in the opera district and 2 metro stops from the Louve.

Comments: A nice hotel with nice and helpful staff. Good location, a couple of stops with the subway and you're as central as you can get. Sometimes there where a little noise from a train/subway under the hotel.

Comments: If you only speak english, the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. They enter your room even though it says 'do not disturb' and then leave the balcony door open so anything could get theived. But the breakfasts are nice and the rooms are clean. Close to a metro stop.

Comments: Great location, friendly English-speaking staff... no problems here! It is a hotel rather than a hostel, so "fun" doesn't really factor in... it was certainly comfortable, in a very-cosy-small-rooms sort of way!

Comments: I had a great experiance at this hotel. The room was small (as most are in Paris) but comfortable, very clean and well maintained. TV (8 channels) and telephone in room. The maid service was great, with clean towels and sheets everyday. The breakfast buffett was plentiful, prompt and quite satisfying, a great way to start the day. There is wireless (wifi) internet access in the rooms but it is not run by the hotel so there is an aditional charge for the service. Hookup to it is easy but you will need a credit card to do that. This location is a great starting point for tourist activities. It's within walking distance of Opera Garnier, LaFayette, Printemps and Gare Du Nord. Just across the street there is a bus stop and just one block down the street a Metro station (Cadet). There are also many cafes and brasseries within walking distance and even a McDonalds at the Cadet Metro entrance. Make no mistake this IS a budget hotel but it has enough good things going for it to make it a great value (I found the best price through trav) and a very satisfying stay. Recommended for 1st time and budget minded visitors to Paris. *** JR

Comments: Location was great. The Cadet Metro station was just 1 min walk. There were restaurants/Bar open till 5 AM. Pretty safe to move around even at early hours in the morning. The rooms are not really big but good as a budget hotel and was clean. Staff was very helpful with directions and maps.
