In the neighbourhood, you have 80 cents per hour internet, 4 euro grilled chickens etc... Overall, good. Nice bathrooms. Helpful receptionist.

The guy at reception did not speak very good english but was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for people on a budget!

Well suited for people that don't want to socialise with others and does not have the "hippy" feel of other hostels, which was most welcome. The room was not serviced on the Monday and the toilet broke, was not fixed and got blocked. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

This place is a little away from the centre but the rooms are big and there is a fridge which is definately a bonus if you are on a budget like us. I advise that you try and get there during the day time becuase it is a little tucked away. I would stay here again

No problems at all. No 24hr staff, as a matter of fact I barely saw anyone the whole time, but that didn't bother me at all.

Caution : KoloniestraBe is konwn by locals for "light" criminality (drugs selling, street hold-ups, etc.). Nevertheless, we didn't feel incomfortable on the street.... But for 30€ or so, one can't expect a Hilton's challenger !

Security was good, the front door has a keypad and you get to keep the key to your room. The main downside is the location, as it is outside of the city center; however, it is only a 7-8 minute walk to the nearest U-Bahn station, and from there about a 10-15 minute ride into the middle of the city. I would recommend this to people who only want a place to sleep, not somewhere to meet other people and have fun.

First they don't speak any english. Then (I belive this was juast a WC-thing) they demanded bank transfer payment in advance. Why not use the paymant possiblility from this site istead? Except for that, it's a pretty average budget hotel. A pretty cheap place to sleep basically.
