There breakfast in the room was actually convinient because I was leaving so early the last night and they even provided a ticket for a meal in a nearby pub. Given the staff, location and cleanliness I wouldn't think twice where I am going to stay on my next visit to London and certainly will recommended to friends. The only thing is the size of the room and specially the bathroom, but considering everything else is a great value for your money! Sonia

Upon arriving we were shown downstairs sub ground level to a twin room (we had booked a double) with the floor covered in water leaking from the ceiling. The room we were given upstairs had a bathroom too small to as much as turn around in, the lock on our door was unsafe, the place was cold, charmless, the TV didn't work and the window couldn't be closed properly. To top it all off when they made the bed on the second day we actually found someone had left human excrement on the sheets, unbelieveable I know but it's true. I wouldn't reccommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs.

It is a few minutes walk from Hyde Park and the Edgware Road subway station.

Bathroom was not cleaned during entire six night/seven day stay! Cleanliness of bed coverings very poor. Hotel rooms very cramped but would not be a problem if their was a high standard of cleanliness. Otherwise good value for money.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 5th July 2007 Couple 31-40 2/5 Comments: We stayed in a room that was on the first floor facing the street, and both nights we were woken up at 2 in the morning by travelers banging on our window because they were locked out of the hotel- the place is under new management and the front desk clerk was mostly missing in action. We told the owner about these problems when he stopped by, and his response was that it wasn't his problem... the location is good, though there are many other nicer and cheaper hotels on the same block!
