| Comments: We were wellcomed by receptionist who informed us that the room I booked 4 days ago is just painted and we cant stay there! They didnt even ring me or send me e-mail!She found for us hostel - in different part of the city, and although she ensured us that we will be charged the same price- she didnt sort that out with the other hostel who wanted to charge us much more! |

| Comments: The best location I could have imagined. I would definitely go back. The shared shower rooms were very clean and private - lots of space for your clothes etc.
When I first arrived I was surprised to find my bedroom was outside, meaning that to get from the bedroom to the bathroom, I had to go outside - but the weather was gorgeous, so it was no problem. On a rainy day, though, I might not enjoy that. The solution being maybe to request an upstairs bedroom... |

| Comments: Great location. Lot of stairs if you have a lot of bags this can be a headache because there is no elevator. Morning staff was very helpful and nice. Evening and night staff were a little weird but helpful and nice. Overall it was better than we expected and a excellent deal for the price. |

| Comments: The staff was very friendly, its sort of a hike from the Latin Quarter, but everything was clean and nice and we had a good view. Only bummer was that the walls were thin and so was the door, so we heard everything going on in the halls. Overall a nice place. |

| Comments: It was okay there. we just had a problem with the staff, because it seemed that they didn\'t know what they told each other. we canceled our room for the first day but on the day we checked out, we were told we had to pay for our first day as well. a bit odd.
but anyway, nice location, just 5 minutes away from notre dam. |

| Comments: Really nice staff, very helpful. The shared showers weren't so bad - very clean and never had to wait more than a couple minutes. Only downside is the one & only computer with internet is extremely slow, but net cafes are abundant in the area. Overall really enjoyed it--with this price & location combo, it's unbeatable! |

| Comments: Very good location. Near to the metro and about 5 min walk from the Latin Quarters. Only problem no elevator. We had a room on the 5th floor and had to climb 5 flights of steep stairs (+- 95 STEPS). No air conditioning. The rooms are very hot in summer. The staff is relatively friendly. You can use the kitchen facilities, however only for breakfast but not for lunch or supper. Overall the faclity is acceptable. |

| Comments: It is not the Ritz. It's in an absolutely fantastic location. We had 2 stays - our room had a bathroom - clean, quiet, small but fine. We made breakfast in the kitchen and the staff were pleasant. Our second visit was in a room with no bathroom, which meant the communal showers (in desperate need of some bleach). The room was on the street so noisy. I would choose a room with a shower. For the price/location it was great - no frills but some people (ie Americans) have unrealistic expections. |

| Comments: Overall ok experience. Fumes from the drainage system kept us awake the first night. Due to airline delays we did not make it to the hostel on the day we had arranged. In spite of writing the hostel the day before, we were charged for the room, which is understandable. However, it took 30 minutes for the front desk clerk (or the cleaning crew) to let us into our room, claiming he was protecting the guests from the noise we could make as we moved in. We continue to be puzzled by this policy. |

| Comments: The bathroom/toilet situation is what killed it for me. Showers cost 2 Euro, the toilet was in an alleyway, and they desperately need an exterminator for bugs (killed 4 in the first 4 minutes in the room!). Otherwise, the location was excellent and the staff was very helpful. Its "good n cheap" for those woodsy guys, hard on those ladies that wear makeup- No, really, there weren't any mirrors anywhere.. |

| Comments: AWFUL! The staff was very rude, weren't able to direct us to main sites, you had to pay 2 euros a day for showers (why not simply include it in the price of the room?), the cleaning lady never cleaned our room so we had a mountain of trash in the corner, only accepted cash and never had change, would not let us eat on the kitchen table past breakfast, tried to sell us all sort of things (tours, shuttle buses, painting on the walls!!!). I would never stay here again! |

| Comments: You can't sit at the dinner table at All after breakfast, or at least when this one guy Rita is working there... he yelled at us for sitting down and told us to read the rule sheet, I said they were stupid and he approached me as if wanting to fight me... I'm sorry I'm a girl with an opinion- location is all this place has going for it - oh and the night time staff is AwesOme we loved Fabio! |

| Comments: Our room looked like Ronald McDonald's Jail cell(yellow and red walls) with only a wash basin and no toilet..You have to leave your key each time you leave the building, and there were a few times where we got away with it cuz no one was sitting at the main desk- where all the keys freely hang for anyone to walk in and grab one. Everyone was nice except for this Rita guy, who hit on my friend and when he got rejected was a complete ass to us. |
