| Comments: The place is OK, rooms a bit depressing, with a sad layout but big and clean.Hot in summer and no AC or fan. |

| Comments: the hostel is amazing. quite small and it really feel like you are in a house. The only thing to be careful about is the minimum stay and the fact that the hostel is not always open and u have to arrive before nine and call a mobile number. The staff is nice and I met awesome people there.definitely the best place to stay especially for this price |

| Comments: The room is clean. The kitchen is excellent. The reception just working a limited time. If you go on sat or sun, don't arrive on night. |

| Comments: Politi Residence is really nice place, where (if you are living in a dorm) you can meet nice people. Rooms are a bit dark and stuffy, but in the summer outside is worse. Kitchen is great - big space with all equipment what you need. We were also very satisfied with services. Girl and boy on the reception were really kind and favourable. Inspite of fact, that rule is that you have to stay at least three nights, they let us stay only two night, which we appreciate strongly. |

| Comments: A fantastic place to stay and in a very handy postiton. Unfortunatley we only stayed 2 nights so didn;t get to see as much as we'd like, but we did take a day trip to Taormina which is absolutely beautiful. |

| Comments: Centrally located.
Only private apartments have aircon, dorms don't.
Atentious managing couple, we complained about a clogged drain, at night it was solved.
Nice breakfast in a small cafe nearby. A pastry and a drink. |

| Comments: The people in the reception were 1st class. Very helpful, caring and very much over accomodating to the problems i encountered from the moment i got to Catania, to the moment i left, 10/10 for them both. |

| Comments: Well, this hostel was nothing to shout about really, but it's in a good area, and it is what you pay for: basic accommodation with a few extras thrown in to keep you happy. Those were the free internet, free laundry and free breakfast. The breakfast was particularly good, because even though it was just the typical Italian brekkie (croissant and a cappuccino), it was made in a cafe just around the corner, so its very good quality, and not just the coco pops you'd get in some other hostels. So if your in the area this is certainly a decent place to stay. And i found out from other travellers that i was lucky to have made this choice too, apparently the other hostel in Catania listed on trav was a complete dive.... |

| Comments: I was really happy to find out that as lockers we had a wardrobe for each person, which can be locked by a padlock. Moreover, there was free Internet, washing machine, tv and fridge in the common room. We really liked this hostel. |

| Comments: quiet, large dorms and lockers for each person, have to have fans of full to cool down room at night but otherwise slept well, 20mins walk from train station and bus station to etna, taormina but close to catania centre. staff very helpful but no 24hr reception. free internet, laundry and kitchen- free breakfast at cafe, you get choice of tes, juice, coffee and fresh pastry! maybe could list a bus to hostel from train station etc on directions in trav |

| Comments: shower plugged. Told the staff who said it would be fixed...maybe just after we left.
Staff did let us stay all day on our leaving day to wait for our train. Really appreicated that. Great people |

| Comments: The bathroom was absolutly inunded all the time, because it's too old, and it isn't well built; and there wasn't any kitchen-maid. On the other hand, it'd have been better more bed clothes. The ventilators working were very annoying in the night.
The rest was fine.
Thank you very much. |

| Comments: Definitely the best place to stay in Catania. Sooo much better than the Agora hostel. It's convenient, well located, cheap, and it has everything a backpacker needs: cooking facilities, free internet, fridge, washing machine, one wardrobe per person... |

| Comments: The apartment was very nice but it lacked a few things - no tea towels or dish clothes or washing up liquid. The staff were friendly and allowed us to use the free internet in the hostel next door. he markets are very close which was great as we made the most of the self catering. |

| Comments: It's a mixed-shared room.. with bathroom. you have a dining-room and a kitchen. and free access to internet.
It's well located near the piazza del duomo. At night the city is a bit dangerous if you are a girl and in your own. |

| Comments: Location was great - this hostel was right near the central piazza and dome, as well as the bus and train station, making it easy to travel. The staff were great and gave us clear directions, a breakfast voucher and a map with instructions. The hostel was open and friendly with lots of space and good showers. There was free internet, a TV and a free washing machine. In actual fact, we have nothing bad to say about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Comments: I had a good stay here, just a tip though that as like a lot of other hostels check the time of check in especially if you are arriving on a Saturday or Sunday like I did. Had to sit and wait for an hour or so till I could check in as there are only certain open hours. Breakfasts here are great-at a little bar/cafe down the road. Great coffee and fresh croissants!! |
