We had to leave it underneath beds and our room was open to everyone. Did not have a door. Nothing happened to our stuff though. Location is very good, nearby Plaza Mayor.

I will agree that it is difficult to find and also once inside the building its a bit of a guessing game as to where to go. As hostels go it could have been better but also a lot lot worse!!!!

It was grate being with you but what did pissed me off was that there were some friends of the guy who was responsible for the hostel and they spent all night shouting and making noise. It was a pain to ask them a bunch of times to stop, but they just didn't. Apart from that, it was all cool!

Security lockers were pretty small, but ok, not large enough for a laptop. The location was good though.

So, 1st of all, don't seat on the couch at the hall. We did, while waiting for the check in time to start, and this old guy who lives there sent us away, and treated us like garbage! But except for this, our stay at Bull's hostel was great, everything is very clean, the staff is excellent, Jorge and his wife were very nice at us! Not to mention the location, it's right in front of the metro station!

It is true what people have said about bed bugs, but the staff dealt with it RIGHT AWAY. When breakfast is supplied by Enrique (he works most days) it is AWESOME!!! I met some great people here, spoke a lot of spanish, and got to enjoy a home-away-from-home type experience in a country that is otherwise a bit alienating. I strongly suggest Bull's Hostel and I'm a bit of a princess, so that's saying something.

Staff don´t speak English, are lazy and were never around - had to ask them several times for toilet paper! People were smoking in the tiny kitchen when other people were eating and cooking! It was also extremely difficult to sleep at night as all you could hear (all night) was people on the street below. Not much atmosphere either.

Also if you like having to get up to let people in because the only staff member goes out at 5am then this place would be great. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Should have gone to Cats.
