Take a bus on arrival to avoid carrying luggage, otherwise walking to town is fairly easy. There is also a very convenient bus to town if your not up for walking ( I think its the #1 bus). Excellent breakfast comes with stay. I would definitely stay again.

It takes like around 15 minutes walking to the centre, but the best part of the location is that it has 2 cheap minimarkets nearby and a turkish 'restaurant'.

Got a private double hotel room for around the same that it would've cost for 2 people in a 8 person hostel room. The reception is very friendly- they even left breakfast sitting out for us the morning we left (as we had to check out before breakfast started). Overall, a great, cute place to stay!

No fun walking with luggage that far. Lovely hotel, very clean, very nice.

The rooms were spacious with nice bathrooms and cable tv. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they even came up to our room to fix our tv. When they couldn't fix the tv they switched our room without a fuss. There isn't much to do in Salzburg after 6pm but that isn't the Hotel's fault.
