She made my stay in Rome better just because of her hostel. The only thing I would say is that the beds were not amazing but staying in the hostel made me feel cozy and safe. If you are looking for a hostel to sty to see Rome than stay here. If you are going for the night life you might want to do something more maintstream.

As a couple looking for somewhere central to stay Night and Day was exactly what we needed. Monica was a fantastic host, very helpful & provided us with plenty of information about Rome, how to get around & good places to eat. The room was huge, bed comfortable & kitchen well equipped. Everything was very clean & accessible. The security was also good. Can't recommend the place highly enough!

She kept things very clean and was also very warm and trusting with all her guests. The Night and Day is also has few rooms so that atmosphere is calmer. Only draw back is having just one shower and toilet, so it can be tricky to juggle with the other people there. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Ex: We wanted to leave earlier one day and without missing a beat she put our breakfasts out early the night before! She remembers which guests are not feeling well.and she's really up-to-date with texts/emails courtesy of her pda/hp. Last ramble but not least, she mentioned having new rooms somewhere near the trevi fountain (if i remember correctly) NOT listed on trav. So DO try her email!

I loved it here because it's like staying in a little apartment with access to a kitchen. We really liked cooking because we were tired of eating out. I recommend sitting by the St. Maria Maggorie at night, which is very close to this B&B.
