There was also a street fight outside one nite, which was fine because i was with guys, but to all girls, this is a bad neighborhood.

There was no natural light in the bedroom and the walls needed new paint. There was also a musty smell in the room and loud construction noise in the building during the day.

But at the end, it is at the very very end and not even on that street. However, the hotel is very close to a metro station. Breakfast are good and friendly staff ,can speak little english.

Me and my mate had an ace time anyway, we felt the constant noise from the hotel/building site was hilarious and gave the hotel a little bit of character!!

Breakfast was cold stuff but there! you can park outside. street and area is close to la ramblas. about 10 min walk! clean!

The rooms are dark with old dark furniture in them that have seen better days. The girl on reception was very unhelpful & rude, she is more interested in watching TV and playing Solatire then actually assisting you. Don't expect to get sleep on a Saturday night the streets outside were busy until after 6am with people and the hotel itself is noisy, there were water pipes in our room so when everyone were having showers etc the water was gushing up these pipes. There is something uncomfortable about the beds aswell.

Good location, short walk to metro, with only a few stops to city centre. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was okay. I recommend this hotel.

And the staff was incredibly helpful. The only downside is that the area immediately around the hotel isn't great, but when you're a short metro ride from all the fun stuff, who cares? I would definitely stay there again.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Ireland 14th June 2007 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: i was reali happy overall, the rooms were a good size and wel kept. breakfast in the mornin was unexpected so that was a big + security was not the best, safes were provided in rooms but on request of a key rather tan a personnaly chosen code however nothin went missing throughout our stay. the baggage room when checking out was on the main lobby and left unlocked and unattendes which was a little worrying. overall a good hotel thats met my expectations in relation to the price

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Netherlands 11th June 2007 Male 31-40 3/5 Comments: We come from Holland and stayed for 2 nights at Coronado during our short-trip to Barcelona, to visit a game of FC Barcelona and it was OK - the quality in relation to price was good, beds were good, breakfast was OK and staff was very friendly and helpful, but you just have to see it all in it's proportions and then this is a good place to go to if you do not want to sped too much money - also in neigbourhood of la Rambla, Placa Catalunya and harbour, so that's also good !
