He processed our bill at the full rate and would not consider re-doing it with the deposit included. This was very annoying. We were in a hurry to leave and in the end we just decided to pay what he asked and leave. I know this was only around 10 Euros but I was not impressed with this hotel\'s service. I will definitely not use your website again if this is the kind of service I can expect.

The location was not ideal if you are planning to sightsee around Girona a lot, however there is a good bus service into town and the distance from the town centre means the hostel is peaceful and relaxing. Excellent service. :)

I guess when I had booked the saturday night stay also via the internet it would have been less expensive. This is not a good advertisement for your hospitality. Daan Bos

The reply was generic, not helpful, no attempt was made to provide the requested info; would have taken them seconds to just email us bus schedule. We then found a new 4* hotel located only minutes from Girona airport; which provided free shuttle to/from airport. We called hotel 24h prior to arrival and cancelled reservation. The reception confirmed the cancellation. Despite, my visa was charged for the full amount.

Bar and restaurant closed at 10.30pm, we arrived at 10.45pm and could not get anything to eat or drink other than hugely expensive chocolate and drinks from the mini bar. No restaurants nearby. An average experience!!!

There is not much choice for food (and every expensive too). Small and homey which i like very much. The hotel has a lot of character, with paintings and very tasteful furniture. Overall good experience. But next time, I think I will rent a car!

Girona is a fair distance away from the Hotel and it is best to get a Taxi from the hotel which should only cost around 8 euro. Beware of the grumpy staff member who recommends to take buses that only come every half an hour.

The swimming pool was a relaxing and refreshing bonus, a quiet wooded setting. A wedding party on Saturday was loud from noon until 10 p.m. Most of the staff was pleasant with the exception of one unfriendly and unhelpful desk clerk. The bus schedule into Girona was not convenient and it meant four 15 euro taxi rides in/out of Girona. The food and food service was great. I will definately recommend this to friends and hope to return.
