Reception gave us a lousy room & we only got a much bigger & newer room cos we complained bout not getting twin beds. Had we not complained, we would hv been ripped off with a small unrenovated room. No deposit box in room and air-con does not work well. Not going to consider another Husa again. Place does not look like the pictures.

The staff went far out of their way to ensure that we had as pleasant a stay as possible and the character of the hotel was very impressive! It was a very nice surprise to see the neat, ornate character and the location was superb- right on the main street. We definitely recommend Husa Oriente to any traveller in Barcelona. Excellent!

We had a fantastic time. The hotel was very grand looking, the rooms very clean. Bathroom was good size and also clean. Staff very friendly. Would definately recommend this hotel to friends and would return to this hotel if we visit Barcelona again.

Hotel staff were really friendly and hotel was very clean. Really good value for money.

It was a top end 3 star hotel and our stay was very enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a centrally located hotel.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Germany 20th December 2005 Couple 25-30 4/5 Comments: Some bad points like a window to Las Ramblas that closed only 99% - read: bring earplugs - or some construction work in the hotel disturbed what was otherwise a very nice experience. We got free breakfast included though we did not pay for it which was great. Also, the breakfast is served untill 11.00 which helps a lot in a city that hardly ever sleeps. Recommended for all sound sleepers.
