Well located.. it makes our stay more enjoyable! The building is a bit older than what I'd expected though. Just let you know that the toilet door is not proper door. seems like closet door which can't be soundproof at all. You know what I mean.. O_o

Easy to get to from the train station. Staff were VERY friendly and welcoming. Free WiFi and good rates. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nice and would fully recommend it.

We called to cancel with Pierre and he promptly let us know that it was understandable. However, upon arriving in Nice, we rendevouzed with Pierre and Annabelle to thank them for their kindness. We were invited for coffee, given tours of the rooms and even enjoyed dinner that night!This is the best located, managed and quaint hotel in Nice. We are planning a return to Nice just to stay at the Hotel Rex!

Place was amazing location right by Place Massena. Staff was super friendly - even walked us to the bus stop when we didnt know where it was bc she didnt speak any english. rooms were small but comfortable and included air conditioning. just a lovely time in a romantic place, would highly recommend staying here!

Vous etes en plein centre piéton et animé mais l'hotel est situé dans une cour et profite d'un calme absolu. Les chambres sont nickel et tout semble neuf. En plus les propriétaires sont charmants et toujours prets à vous aider. Génial... Very clean and friendly with the best location in Nice. Easy to go from train or bus in 10 mn by foot. I recomand this place for foreigneurs or french people.

It is in a 1000 year old palace and is one of the most unique places we've ever stayed. It is also right in the center of the historic section of the city, within 5 minutes walk of the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the museums. It is also in a fun, safe area, with lots of shops and restaurants. Lastly, the staff are as friendly and helpful as you'll find anywhere; so much so that we invited them to come visit us in the US!

The staff of Hotel Rex was very accommodating, however, in finding us an alternate hotel, so ultimately, we were very pleased and would love to come back on another occasion!

It is charmingly decorated and you are being welcomed by pleasant people. While the toilets are rather small and the actual building sits in a yard, it is far compensated by the upsides. Indeed worth a stop for the weekend.
