It is a little out of town but only a 10-15 min walk to the main shopping street (Grafton Street). The hotel looks a bit scruffy on the outside but our room was large and comfortable and kept very clean during our stay. Although their is a large pub/club on the ground floor, we didn\'t hear a thing. The only downside was that our room was very hot and stuffy in the night. Didn't have breakfast. Well recommended!

Everyting is close!10 min walk from Temple bar and all the things you like to see! Every day fresh towels and free coffe in the room!!! :) I recoomend this hotel to couples! Definetly the place I wanna go , when I'm next time in Dublin!

We booked a room early and payed 60 euros for a twin room. On the day that we arrived there were twin rooms for 42,50!!!! We also had a small room, while there were much bigger ones!! Besides that we were woken every morning by the neigbours from the pool bar, who were sorting out empty bottles!!!! Terrible noise in the early morning. So overall not to good.

Minor flaws, such as windows that sometimes is opened by the wind at night, resulting in a cold room! Internet offered is expensive and very, very slow! Breakfast is also overpriced. Otherwise it is a very good and pleasant place to stay.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating - 7th April 2008 Male 25-30 4/5 Comments: My boyfriend and I stayed in the Camden De Luxe when we met up in Dublin. We were slightly scared from all the hotel reviews. There was no need to be as we were greeted with smiling faces in a very nice lobby. I called the night prior to arrival to confirm, again. They were more than helpful and everything was perfect. They helped us find amazing and affordable restaurants in the area, help us plan our trips and even had a cab waiting (and gave us a wake up call to let us know that they were calling the cab, and let us know that the car had arrived) when we left. They also lock the front doors and side doors when they are clearing out the bar downstairs for safety and security. They are very carefull about who they let in. We stayed on the 3rd floor and noise was not an issue. Not to mention that the bar was was the most affordable one we went to, everything was clean and shiny. This 2 star hotel was more convienient and friendly than many of the famous brand 5 Star hotels I have stayed in over the years, and for a fraction of the cost. Though a bit of paint and maybe a few other little touch ups are needed here and there... Like the window latch so many people have written about already... there are no substantial problems. And if Noise is a concern, may I recoomend having a nice stroll through temple bar, or even just up Camden, there are numerous wonderful buildings that are impressively lit and most everything closes by 2 am. It was a fantastic stay and complemented our weekend away.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating England 31st March 2008 Mixed Group 25-30 4/5 Comments: The camden-deluxe is a great hotel the rooms are big and clean,its takes about 20 minutes to walk in to temple bar and the other shopping areas .Its easy to get to from the airport just jump on the 16a and it drops you off outside .There are some great bars around the hotel and the staff are happy to give you directions and ideas of where to go .I will definatly stay here again
